Being an OPAL member allows you to join in with our many events and activities, gives you access to our transport, enables you to join our many support groups and helps to ensure the future of OPAL allowing us to help more older people in our area. You also get a copy of our newsletter delivered to your door every two months.

How to become a member

Click here for a membership form, or contact us and we can send you on in the post!

You can pay by bank transfer, cash, card, or cheque. We do not accept card payments over the phone. If you are unable to bring in your membership, please phone and we can arrange to collect it from you.

If you choose not to continue being an OPAL member, you can still access information over the phone, or from our drop-in office. You are also able to still visit the Welcome In Café! You can re-join at any time. If your choice is for financial reasons, please speak to a member of OPAL staff for help.

Opening hours

Welcome In Community Centre is open to the public. You can visit our cafe from Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 3pm.
